Lots of festive fun was had at Christmas Holiday Club. We used our baking skills and made: salted caramel creams polar bears, decorated Christmas tree cake and marshmallow dough snowballs. We used our art skills to make: a handprint door wreath, a moving Christmas tree from a paper plate and a handprint reindeer. We played lots of games including: a Santa’s sleigh race, cellophane
The cheerleading club has already made great progress with lots of boys and girls interested in taking up the sport. Currently the KS2 squad is made up of 17 year 3 and 4s and 19 year 5 and 6s. The children involved have learnt lots of new moves and lifts from Miss Acres and Miss Francis. The older children are also preparing a dance
Today, we did gladiator training to improve our strength and muscles, made a 3D model of a Roman Aqueduct and made Raspberry cakes.
Today we made a laurel wreath crown, a toga fit for and Emperor, our own personally designed roman coin, banana raisin bites and our own Roman Fort (complete with blacksmith hut, fortress wall, escape tunnel, hospital, horse stables and sleeping quarters for all the roman infantry). We had great fun!

We had an amazing time at holiday club this term doing lots of fun activities. Here is some of the photographs we took. We did baking, face painting, sensory scavenger hunt and we built dens in the woodland area.
