This week, Year 6 have been thinking about their time spent at Primary School. The children drew an illustrated timeline displaying staff and some of the fantastic memories that they have made over the last seven years. As an end of term treat Kangaroos earned a water day. The day started with them getting changed into suitable clothing then we went out into the shaded area of the field and tested out different plastic trays to see which one would hold the most pebbles before sinking. After break we had a water race but there was a problem with the buckets-
This week saw a new group of children begin their forest school journey. They have worked well together building dens, using their balancing skills on see-saws they made, swinging in the hammock and making crowns using natural resources found within the forest area.
